Alliance Family Screening of Rise Up! Documentary

Alliance is proud to present Rise Up! 14 Short Films about Alliance for Positive Change. This moving film explores all the ways positive change unfolds through the lens of Alliance for Positive Change’s one-of-a-kind Peer program. Directed by Peabody award-winning filmmaker Antonio Ferrera, this documentary goes behind the scenes to shine a light on hope, transformation, truth, and power for New Yorkers with shared lived experiences.

We recently held a private screening for the film's stars at the famed Anthology Film Archives. The reception was powerful: people laughed, cried, clapped, and shouted affirmation throughout.

The film will debut to larger audiences in the near future. Stay tuned!

Midtown Central June Pantry

Alliance for Positive Change’s pantry days are our chance to provide program participants with many of the most practical and nutritious items they need. Though primarily consisting of shelf-stable non-perishable foods, they always include fresh produce like carrots and bananas, and apples and onions, to support a balanced diet. To learn more about our pantry days and free weekly nutrition courses, contact Taryn Miles at taryn@alliance.nyc.
