Alliance rallies outside Governor Hochul's NYC office to stop the 340B carve out

Today, over 50 Alliance community members assembled outside Governor Kathy Hochul’s 3rd Avenue Manhattan office and held a rally with other safety net providers. Our CEO Sharen Duke spoke and called on the Governor to REJECT her 340B carve out plan. Watch Sharen’s remarks here.

Alliance protests "Cuomo Carve Out" in Albany with "Die-in" Demonstration

On Tuesday, March 28, days before “The Cuomo Carve Out” of the life-saving Medicaid 340B program is slated to go into effect, Alliance joined Housing Works and other safety net providers that will be effected by cuts to essential services. To demonstrate the severity of these cuts, we joined in a “Die-in” demonstration.

Casino Event for Women's History Month

Black History Jeopardy at Alliance CASA

During Black History Month, Alliance held two fun Jeopardy events for program participants, with a theme of Black History. But we want to honor and celebrate Black History all year round. Wednesday, March 15, we held a Black History themed Jeopardy event, at CASA Washington Heights.
