Peer Training Cycle 59 Graduation

On Monday, November 28, Alliance was proud to celebrate the graduates of our Peer training Cycle 59: Carmen C., Crystal C., Davvillion F., James J., Jeanette W., Khadija H., Lee S., Lydia B., Malia S., Marvelyn B., Milton G., Nadege B., Nildi R. A., Rare-Pearl Paul M., and Wayne M.

The ceremony was held at The Door, and featured remarks from graduates, Alliance Peer trainers, Alliance CEO Sharen Duke, COO Brenda Starks-Ross, former Peer graduate and current staff member Jarius Oxendine, and Board Member Stephen Gass.

Peer Training Cycle 58 Graduation

On Wednesday, June 15, Alliance was proud to celebrate the graduates of our Peer training Cycle 58: Barbara Walker, Brittany Gomez, Carmelo Adorno Jr., Carmen Rodriguez, Cecilia Megginson, Charles Waters, Conrad Connie Hilton, Delon Kennerly, Havanna Knight Carey, James Powell, Jessie R. Johnson, Travelle Benton, and Sau Ling Chau.

Joining Alliance in celebrating our graduates were Congressmember Carolyn B. Maloney, Charlize Croner, from Avita Pharmacy, and Allen Zwickler, Treasurer of Alliance’s Board of Directors.


Peer Recovery Education Program (PREP) Class of 57 Graduates

Begun over 25 years ago, Peer Recovery Education Program (PREP) has been a resource to over 1,000 New Yorkers seeking positive change in their lives. Though our cycle 57 was entirely virtual, we invited graduates to come to Alliance Midtown for portraits with their certificates of completion and of perfect attendance, which a very high number of our participants achieved.
