The Alliance promotes Positive Change for New Yorkers seeking health, recovery, and a better future as they navigate life with HIV and other chronic health conditions.

Who We Are

The Alliance began in 1990 in a small office space donated by the Design Industry’s Foundation for AIDS (DIFFA). We started out with three staff in that small office and a budget of $170,000.

How We Serve

The Alliance has long operated under the philosophy of meeting clients where they are at. Our client-centered philosophy, a top priority is ensuring that our clients have adequate food, shelter, and clothing.
