July 28 is World Hepatitis Day, and the Alliance is encouraging New Yorkers to get tested for hepatitis C. About 75% of Americans with hepatitis C don't know they're infected. Thanks to advances in treatment, hep C is now curable, but testing is important because the vast majority of people do not experience symptoms.
11am - Hepatitis Presentation (Sponsored by Gilead Sciences)
12pm - Community Lunch
1pm - Testimonials/ Panel Discussion
