Celebrate LGBTQ pride with the Alliance! We'll be hosting a variety of events focused on LGBTQ health and HIV prevention:

Community Promise Poetry Slam*
Wednesday, June 14, 5-6pm
The Alliance - Midtown, 64 W 35th St

Join us for poetry readings and spoken word performances. We'll also be distributing condoms, lube, and info on HIV prevention. Community Promise is a community-level intervention to promote progress toward consistent HIV prevention practices through community mobilization.

*This event is geared towards transgender women.

Safe Sex Saturday
Saturday, June 17, 12-5pm
CASA Washington Heights, 2036 Amsterdam Ave

Come learn how to make safer sex sexy! Let’s talk about ways to keep the pleasure going and still be safe. Join us on our first Saturday opening! Stop by grab a bite to eat.  Free HIV and Hep C testing will also be available.

Trans Wellness Day

The Alliance - Midtown, 64 W 35th St

Come by the Alliance's main office to learn how to protect yourself from HIV, enjoy healthy relationships, and take advantage of resources for the trans community.
